Reddy Anna Sports Life publishes cricket education, India player profiles and historical reference pages. This methodology explains how facts are selected, checked, dated and presented so readers can understand both the information and its limits.
Source order
The strongest available source is used for each type of claim. A selection announcement and a career-statistics table answer different questions, so one source is not treated as suitable for everything.
| Claim type | Preferred evidence |
|---|---|
| India squad selection | Dated BCCI or official team announcement. |
| Laws and playing conditions | MCC Laws of Cricket and current ICC or competition playing conditions. |
| Career statistics and debut dates | Established player record pages and official scorecards where available. |
| Historical player identity | Cross-format cap lists and stable player records. |
| Photograph use | Original file page, creator and explicit reuse licence. |
| Social account identity | Official board, team, player site or clearly authenticated platform evidence. |
Search snippets, fan pages, copied statistics, anonymous posts and promotional claims are not treated as final evidence. A source can also become outdated, so the date and scope of the record matter.
Player profiles and statistics
Every expanded player profile separates Test, ODI and T20I figures. Matches, runs, centuries, half-centuries and wickets are shown only within the relevant format. A format the player did not represent is stated plainly instead of being blended into a misleading combined total.
The date beside a statistics row tells the reader how far the checked record extends. Completed careers may have final totals; active careers require later updates. Milestone lists are selective rather than exhaustive and must be supported by a player record, scorecard or event source.
Current-squad status is not the same as a playing XI. Fitness conditions, captaincy labels and selection dates remain attached to the announcement that supports them. Historical debut-year navigation uses the year of a player’s first senior India appearance in any of the three men’s international formats.
Writing and automation
Research organisation and first-draft preparation may use automation or AI-assisted tools. Those tools do not establish a fact. Claims retained on the site must match the linked evidence, the correct player identity, the correct format and the stated date. Unsupported totals, invented quotations, fabricated news, estimated records and uncertain social handles are excluded.
Each page is written for one main reader need. Player pages keep the player entity primary; guides answer one cricket question; policy pages explain the publication. Repeating keywords, generating doorway variations or expanding thin records merely to increase page count is outside this methodology.
Images and attribution
Real player photographs are used only when a reusable file can be identified and visually matched to the player. Profile credits include the creator, source file, licence and modification note. Cropping or WebP conversion is disclosed. A photo credit does not suggest that the player, photographer, team or source endorses this website.
Guides, probability and awareness
Cricket-rule explanations are checked against primary rules material. Mathematical examples are calculated rather than estimated. Articles about odds or fantasy cricket explain probability, scoring variability, financial risk and misleading claims; they do not provide live odds, picks, betting steps, operator links or affiliate calls.
Updates and corrections
When a supported correction changes a material fact, the relevant page should be updated and its reviewed date reconsidered. A request is most useful when it includes the page URL, the exact statement, the proposed correction and a primary or established secondary source. The complete procedure appears on Sources and Corrections.
Readers can explore the resulting work through the India player archive and cricket guide library.
